So I cover 2 scenarios in the video below - one installing with default options in Debian for btrfs and another option where you chose ext instead of btrfs and show show to completely convert and repair an installation in this state.:

Just a note on converting: Sorry I didnt do a written guide but there is a lot to explore so thought a video worked better, as well as it then showing you how to take on a project like this, as every system might be a little different I felt it was better to show the kind of thinking and decisions behind how to do this rather than just a copy/paste of commands. Also sorry for not being a professional youtuber, its not really my thing. I prefer written guides in all honesty.
